Dating back to the 1920s, our 1st and 2nd generation leaders inspired a company of integrity with deep roots in trust and fairness. From these origins the company grew to become a full-line distributor with two other divisional operations, expanding the company's global distribution capability. While adaptation, innovation, and expansion have marked the last few decades, one thing has not changed over the years: our commitment to Valley's core principles. What We Do
Providing our customers with a “one-stop shopping” experience with offers for all fruit and vegetable commodities every day, all year round.
We source locally, domestically, and globally from grower partners, helping us transition seamlessly between regions as the seasons and varietal offerings change. Valley acts as a bridge in integrating partnerships and mediates the relationships between suppliers and customers. We moralize transparency in order to assure confidence in partners. Where We Are
Corporate Headquarters
Valley has long been recognized as L.A.’s premier produce distributor. The corporate headquarters and LA “Market” location is the first to open and the last to close, affording Valley customers flexibility and access.
Valley Warehouse
Our warehouse facility is 95,000 square feet and located in the Alameda Trade Center, just across from the Los Angeles Wholesale Produce Market. This location provides easy access to all major freeways and is located along the Alameda corridor. Valley’s primary concern is product integrity and we separate product across 10 coolers, all with independent humidity and temperature control capability, to maintain optimum conditions. Our computer system is fully integrated across three divisions and Valley customers have confidence knowing that all product is fully traceable from receiving time to shipment. Radio frequency bar code scanners are used to track all inventory movements, from truck arrival to final truck loading. Valley’s warehouse is USDA, FDA, Primus Labs GFS and CTPAT certified.
Valley Produce Solutions Division
Adjacent to the Valley warehouse is Valley Produce Solutions (formerly known as Continental Sales Company). Valley Produce Solutions operates with very flexible loading hours to facilitate out-of-state and export customers.
Valley Retail Management Division
Valley Retail Services operates a few blocks from the LA Market, and maintains integrity of product with several climate-controlled storage rooms. The Retail Management location is strategically located just blocks away from Southern California’s major freeways, allowing convenient access for inbound and outbound freight.
